Fuengirola

Situated between Benalmadena and Marbella, Fuengirola is a former fishing village that now plays host to many visitors every year. The town is busy and full of the popular bars, restaurants and shops that come naturally along the Costa del Sol, but has still managed to retain much of its charm in its small sidestreets, original squares and classical tapas bars.

Fuengirola beach stretches for approximately five miles and may be more accurately described as eight beaches. Sunbeds are at the ready along the sands and lots of watersports are on offer. For those looking for a quieter, more relaxing holiday, seek out the chiringuitos, small restaurants and cafes overlooking the beach and sea.
