Biograd

Biograd na Moru (popularly shortened to Biograd) is a town in Northern Dalmatia, one of the most beautiful and varied parts of the Croation coast. Its location makes it ideal for exploring by sea making it a popular sailing destination with the 750 berth Marina Kornati and crystal clear waters.

West of the marina Biograd Museum offers a number of items of interest from the town and the local area. There are other sightseeing opportunities with a number of churches in the town, including the 18th- century Church of St. Anastasia and the remains of the medieval Church of St Catherine.

Overlooking the Island of Pasman, Biograd is located 30km South of Zadar making it within easy reach of Zadar airport. The town is ideally located to explore Croatia’s National Parks, coastlines and Islands. The iconic heart shaped Island of Galensnjak which is nearby can be visited via private boat hire. It is tiny and uninhabited but thanks to Google Earth it has had lots of attention in recent years.

Soline Beach is a sandy beach located south of the main part of Biograd na moru surrounded by pine trees that create plenty of shade from the sun it is a popular destination for families with young children due to its many facilities, activities and food options and shallow entry into the sea.
