Port de Soller

About Port de Soller

Situated on Mallorca’s rugged north-west coast, Port de Soller is a picturesque harbour village that has retained much of its traditional charm. Nestled between the azure Mediterranean Sea and the dramatic cliffs of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, it offers a serene escape for those seeking relaxation, natural beauty, and a touch of local culture.

Port de Soller boasts two sandy beaches: Playa d’en Repic and Playa des Traves. Both are ideal for families, offering golden sands and calm, clear waters perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The seafront promenade is lined with a variety of cafés, restaurants, and bars, providing ample opportunities to enjoy fresh seafood, sip a refreshing drink, and watch the world go by.

A highlight of any visit is the charming vintage tram that runs from the harbour to the nearby town of Soller. This 1913-built tram offers a leisurely 25-minute journey through lush orange groves and scenic countryside, providing a unique perspective of the area. Once in Soller, visitors can explore the town’s historic centre, bustling market square, and the modernist architecture of its church, or continue their journey into Palma if desired.
