About Cala d’Or

Situated on Majorca’s south-east coast, Cala d’Or is a vibrant resort built around a collection of sandy coves, lively streets and an elegant marina.

Originally a quiet fishing village, Cala d’Or has grown to encompass three miles of coastline, including several picturesque bays. The resort centres on the marina, Cala Llonga, where you will find superb waterfront restaurants, bars and cafés — it’s a lovely place to watch the boats and enjoy evening dining. A short walk uphill from the water brings you to the heart of Cala d’Or, with its cluster of hotels, boutiques, family-friendly restaurants and streets full of life.

There are many coves to explore around Cala d’Or. Cala Gran, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Petita, Cala Llonga, Cala Ferrera, Cala Serena and Cala Egos are just some of the smaller bays you can enjoy.

Nearby villages and towns add contrast and more relaxed atmospheres. Porto Petro, just a few minutes away, retains a more traditional feel, with its harbour, local eateries and less hustle and bustle. To the northeast, Porto Colom has one of Majorca’s largest natural harbours, good beaches, maritime charm, and a more peaceful pace.
