Golfo Aranci

On Sardinia’s spectacular north-eastern coast, Golfo Aranci is a relaxed seaside town with roots as a traditional fishing village. Stretching around a sheltered bay beneath the dramatic Capo Figari promontory, it combines beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters and a lively waterfront atmosphere.

The town is surrounded by more than 20 beaches, from the sandy Five Beaches close to the centre to the beautiful coves of Cala Moresca and Cala Sassari. With clear, shallow waters and plenty of sheltered spots, there are lots of opportunities for swimming, snorkelling and enjoying the Sardinian sunshine.

The coastline around Capo Figari is particularly spectacular, with rugged cliffs, hidden coves and panoramic views across the Mediterranean. Just offshore, the island of Figarolo is a popular spot for boat trips, snorkelling and dolphin-spotting excursions.

Back in Golfo Aranci, the waterfront comes alive in the evening with restaurants, cafés and bars, making it easy to enjoy a leisurely dinner or a drink overlooking the sea. With Olbia just a short drive away and the wider Costa Smeralda within easy reach, Golfo Aranci is a wonderful base for discovering the beautiful north-east coast of Sardinia.
