About Ibiza Town

The island’s lively capital, Ibiza Town combines history, culture and style with a vibrant energy that makes it one of the Mediterranean’s most exciting cities. Here you’ll find excellent shopping, world-class dining, chic cafés, buzzing bars, colourful nightlife and an impressive line-up of cultural events throughout the year.
The city is made up of three distinct areas: the Old Town, the New Town and the Marina.

Dalt Vila, the UNESCO-protected Old Town, sits high above the harbour with its impressive Renaissance walls. Within its cobbled streets and whitewashed houses, you’ll discover a maze of artisan shops, museums and viewpoints across the sparkling sea. Just outside the walls, the former fishing quarter comes alive in the evenings with a vibrant market atmosphere.

The New Town centres on the elegant boulevard of Vara de Rey, lined with historic townhouses, boutiques and stylish cafés. Nearby, Plaza del Parque is a popular spot for coffee, tapas and people-watching. Across the harbour, Marina Botafoch is the chic heart of Ibiza’s glamour, where luxury yachts, designer boutiques and fashionable restaurants create a unique atmosphere. It’s also a hotspot for celebrity spotting.

For beach lovers, Figueretas is just a 15-minute walk away, while Talamanca is easily reached by boat. The world-famous beach clubs and nightlife of Playa d’en Bossa are only a short taxi ride from the city. With its blend of history, sophistication and modern energy, Ibiza Town is the perfect base for exploring the island by day and soaking up its vibrant nightlife after dark.
