Porto Cervo

Porto Cervo is the glamorous heart of Sardinia’s famous Costa Smeralda, where crystal-clear waters, beautiful beaches and rugged Mediterranean scenery meet stylish restaurants, boutiques and one of the island’s most impressive marinas.

Designed in the 1960s around the natural curve of the bay, Porto Cervo is best explored on foot. The marina is home to some of the most spectacular yachts in the Mediterranean and is a wonderful place for an evening stroll.

Beyond the town, the coastline is dotted with beautiful beaches and secluded coves. Grande Pevero and Piccolo Pevero are two of the area’s best-known beaches, with soft sand and clear turquoise waters, while the beaches around Cala di Volpe and Capriccioli offer more idyllic spots to enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine.

There is plenty to discover beyond the beaches too. Boat trips head out into the turquoise waters surrounding the Costa Smeralda and towards the La Maddalena Archipelago, while nearby coastal villages and marinas provide plenty of opportunities to explore. From the secluded coves around Poltu Quatu to the spectacular scenery of the Pevero coastline, the area surrounding Porto Cervo is every bit as beautiful as its famous name suggests.
