- From 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time in Jersey
- 2.5 hours prior to departure in Majorca, Portugal, Ibiza, Malaga & Tenerife
Minimum check-in time
Minimum check-in time for all flights is 1 hour prior to departure.
For flight only customers please check our website 24 hours prior to departure where any change in the scheduled departure time will be clearly posted.
Final flight details for all FlyDirect departures will be shown on your pre-departure information issued by email approximately 1 week prior to departure.
Occasionally, we might have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.
Luggage
Flying to Costa del Sol, Majorca, Ibiza and Portugal
Included in your flight price:
1x Hold luggage
- Max. weight: 20kg
- Max. dimensions: 90cm x 75cm x 43cm
1x Cabin bag
- Max. weight: 10kg
- Max. dimensions: 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (including wheels and handles)
Any additional item (handbag, laptop bag) must fit inside your cabin bag. Total combined weight must not exceed 10 kg.
- Oversized/excess weight bags will incur airport excess baggage charges – paid at check-in.
- Please note that all luggage in addition to the standard allowance is carried subject to final load on the day.
- Infants under 2 years of age are entitled to 10kg hold luggage and in addition can take a pushchair and/or car seat.
Flying to Tenerife
Included in your flight price:
1x Hold luggage
- Max. weight: 18kg
- Max. dimensions: 90cm x 75cm x 43cm
Please note that the 18kg limit will be strictly adhered to, in order to ensure that all checked baggage may be carried on the flight.
1x Cabin bag
- Max. weight: 5kg
- Max. dimensions: 55cm x 45cm x 25cm (including wheels and handles)
Any additional item (handbag, laptop bag) must fit inside your cabin bag. Total combined weight must not exceed 5kg.

Extra Legroom Seats
Subject to availability it is possible to upgrade to extra legroom seats for only £50 per person return.
These seats carry restrictions as to who can occupy specific seats due to safety criteria. Restrictions may include:
- Infants under the age of 2
- Children under 12 years
- Mobility impaired passengers
- Pregnant passengers
- Passengers requiring an extension belt
- For emergency exit rows you must be able to speak and understand English or Spanish

Golf Equipment
- Golf equipment can be carried on all our Costa del Sol, Majorca, Portugal, and Ibiza flights.
- Golf equipment can be carried on selected flights to Tenerife, where the weight limit is restricted to 15kg.
- You must call our team to check availability and reserve space for your golf equipment before booking.
Bicycles
- Properly packaged bicycles can be carried on our Costa del Sol, Majorca, Portugal and Ibiza services.
- Bicycles can be carried on selected flights to Tenerife, where the weight limit is restricted to 20kg.
- Bicycle carriage is subject to availability on each flight and cannot be booked online.
- You must call our team to check availability and reserve space for your bicycle before booking.
Book your sports equipment
- The charge is £60 per item return, payable to FlyDirect at the time of booking.
- Golf clubs and bicycles must be added by phone so availability can be confirmed.

Winter Offer
On selected dates we will be able to offer FREE carriage of golf clubs and bicycles.
Catering
Flying to Costa del Sol, Majorca, Ibiza and Portugal
- BA CityFlyer will be providing a complimentary drink and snack on board this service for our clients travelling to the Costa del Sol, Majorca, Ibiza, Portugal.
- There is no additional buy on board service available, however passengers are welcome to take food & soft drinks purchased in the airport on board with them.
Flying to Tenerife
- Smartwings will be providing a buy on board service for our clients travelling to Tenerife.
- Please note that this service may be adapted or removed at any time, depending on product availability at the departure points.
